Rose Healy 1884-1980
Rose Anne Healy was born in 1884 in Kyeburn and enrolled at the Kyeburn School on 6 November 1893.
Rose married William Johnson in January 1911 and they had two children: Phyllis and Laus. Laus in particular was very close to the Sharp family, and Desmond and Laus could have been mistaken for twins, the resemblance was so striking.
Rose died in the Eventide Rest Home, Company Bay, Dunedin on 8 January 1980 aged 96 years. She was cremated and her ashes scattered at Andersons Bay.
